Europcar - Touran & Sharan

I worked with the agency Business Lab on this page for Europcar.
The aim of this animation is to present the different characteristics of both models of the Volkswagen brand, the new Touran & Sharan.
I animated the content, externalizing texts on XML files to be easily translated in several languages.

I designed this newsletter for TransGourmet, in collaboration with the agency Business Lab.

Soma Sonic - Celebrating 5 years!

I was invited, with the visual crew of the Subsense collective, by Psychometric Vision to perform on Soma Sonic 5th birthday, in Liverpool.

I delivered visuals all night long with Ninowis on nice psytrance beats.

We got quite inspired by the special atmosphere of the event, taking advantage of the lights, laser and neon effects, and we recorded about two hours of our VJ set.

We will soon decide how we are going to use those footage.
I'll post the result of that collaboration here in my blog.

Société Générale

I worked with the agency Brainsonic on this Flash page presenting the upcoming website of the Société Générale. The aim was to present the evolution and features of the new website.

I developed this page, integrating a video player, and I also animated a banner to redirect to this page.

Geração EDP 2010

The agency Outbox Ativism gave me the responsability to develop the websites they was conceiving for the new campaign of EDP (Electricidade De Portugal), named "Geração EDP". The purpose of this communication campaign is to mobilize and sensitize the younger generation with our consumption of energy, and the technologies generating renewable energies.

The work I have acheived along this year is distributed on 3 projects.
I developed each websites in AS3 Flash classes, using Papervision for the integration, animation and interaction of 3D worlds.

Colisão Visual - Video

I've managed to edit the video from the live performance I've designed with Videomorphose & The atomic tour project. The name of the project is "Colisão Visual" (Visual Collision), and is focusing on the theme "Ways of seeing". Check out more informations on my older post.

The performance took place inside the garden of a monastery in Estremoz, Portugal, early September. This is a short version of the
20 minutes performance.

Music for freelance

With some friends, we had the idea of creating a social network for freelancers and web agencies, that we called Music for freelance.
This is a logo I created on Illustrator.

Renault ZE

I developed a Flash structure & transverse tools used on 4 modules of the Renault ZE website, promoting each of the 4 models presented in the motor-show 2010.

Colisão Visual

"Colisão Visual" (Visual Collision) is a live performance, focusing on the theme "Ways of seeing".

It is a show combining the work of two VJ artists, Videomorphose & myself, and one band playing live, the Atomic Tour Project.

Videomorphose invited me to be a part of it, by participating on the visuals projected live.
I sure accepted with great enthusiasm, and we played together for one week in Lisbon, throwing ourselves in the adventure.

We prepared the show for a specific event, Ciência na Rua, taking place in Estremoz, Portugal.
All together we took advantage of the atmosphere of the place we was performing in, & make the sound design work perfectly in the space and with the mood of the visuals projected.

We are very happy with the result, and we are now expected to bring this performance to other events.

We managed to record the whole performance on multiple angles with several cameras, and we also recorded the visual sets from both visual artists on DV.

I am currently gathering the data to edit a video of the performance, and will upload it as soon as possible.

Estée Lauder

For this project with the agency Lux Modernis, we worked on an animation presenting the upcoming product from Estée Lauder.
I developed the Flash structure and animated the content.

VJ session with Videomorphose

Videomorphose is an experienced VJ delivering visuals around Lisbon.
I met him occasionally and he invited me to share a session with him during an event, what i sure did. We mixed visuals for hours, & as it was going very well, I recorded some bits of our session on DV.

Back to my studio, I edited them in order to create video-clips on tracks made by artists from the Subsense collective.
The following videos are the result of that collaboration, and the editing work that I've done.

L'illusionniste

This project is the result of my first collaboration with the agency Unity, and Axel Corjon (Creaktif). This website presents the movie "L'illusionniste" (2010) by Sylvain Chomet, who also created "Les Triplettes de Belleville" (2003).

As the movie was coming out quickly, we had to rush the development of the website, and realized it in a month time.
I contributed to this project by developing the website in Flash, and animating the content.

Chivas Club

I worked on this project for Chivas with the agency Yomoc. Chivas Portugal needed an online access for the members of their private club.
I developed the website using Flash, worked on the communication with the CMS and the database, and finally animated the content.

Subsense, the collective

Subsense is a collective that I founded with Ninowis in 2007, grouping musical and visual artists working together toward a common goal and with the same passion about music and visual media.

With the help of Ninowis, I developed our website with great
motivation, dealing with all the steps of the creation, from the main idea-concept, to the artistic direction & the Flash development using Papervision.

We needed to diffuse our work and what we stand for, so we conceived it as a multimedia player, permiting the users to listen, watch & share alternative music, videos & pictures from our artists.

The users can also create their own playlist & express themselves by mixing visuals from our own library, using an online VJing module.

Breakdance

This is an animation about humans in motion I made few years ago, when I was at the University of Wales.
I draw each images and backgrounds, treated them on Photoshop and placed them into Flash to recompose a frame by frame animation.

EUROP ASSISTANCE - NetGlobers

In collaboration with the agency Visual Link, I developed this interactive application for NetGlobers, a website related to Europ Assistance, giving the opportunity to users to create and share travel reports.

I used Flash, Papervision, and the Google Map API to place the points on the globe with their coordinates (latitude, longitude). I also dealt with the communication with the CMS, and animated the interactive content.

UNICEF - Les briques de la vie

I helped the agency La Surprise on the development of this project for Unicef. The concept was to propose users to buy virtuals scrubs on a 3D interactive wall, in order to gain founds.
The website was already on development when I joined the team, that needed help on the Flash development in order to deliver the project on time. I then worked on the integration & animation of 3D interactive content, using Papervision.
